A tea produced during the intensely cold winter snap in the Nilgiris when temperatures drop down to 0OC and even lower bringing with it heavy frost which settles on the bushes on the lower slopes. Leaf harvest from the unaffected bushes are processed to produce flakes of black particles interspersed with green. Produces a liquor with flavour and character.
