Description
A method which harks back to ancient times in China when, to avoid spoilage during the long journeys along the Silk Road, teas were compressed in the shape of bricks. Over the years the Chinese have further developed that ancient system into an artform. Learning from the masters, respecting their art and pioneering this in India, the Tea Studio offers two variants of our unique teas in the form of beautifully created compressed Tea Cakes

Our Collaboration with Udhavi
Art with Heart
At Tea Studio, we believe that making a difference to society goes hand in hand with simply crafting exceptional teas.
As part of our commitment to social responsibility, a percentage of our profits goes towards supporting Udhavi, a school for children with special needs, based in Coonoor.
Taking this association a step further, and mindful of the children's severely limited mobility, we invited those little tots to create the artwork for our Tea Cake labels.
Each design is a delightful expression of their imagination, creativity and individuality. Making every Tea Cake that much more special.
Our range of compressed tea cakes is way more than just an exceptional tea experience. Each one is also a little piece of art, a lot of heart, and a story worth sharing.
